You and your child can participate together on a musical journey by diving into creative music-making activites at The Early Music Studio, providing early childhood music groups for kids aged 0-9. Activities include simple songs, scarf dances, parachute, stretchy band, circle games, percussion instrument exploration, music, movement and more! Both are family classes so older/younger siblingswelcome to join

Impressions Dance Club Ballroom & Social Dancing
Sample classes to learn and understand the basics of some of the most popular social dances. We'll spend about 15 minutes on each dance so you can see which ones you really love as well as be able to at least dance the basics in any social situation.  

11:00 Latin Rhythms – Salsa & Bachata 
Whether the quick pace and lively moves of Salsa, or the smooth flowing motion of Bachata, both of these popular Latin dances are full of fun. Learn the differences in the rhythms and footwork, with spins and variations to get you out on the dance floor. 

11:30 Romantic Dances – Rumba, Rhythm & Romance for Special Events
Learn to glide across the dance floor with passion and ease. Whether you're preparing for a special occasion or just want to learn the art of dancing closely with a partner, this sampler class will put you on the path to dancing with  style and grace.

12:00 Swing Time – East vs. West Learn the basics, understand the difference
East Coast Swing is a lively, energetic dance with a circular pattern, typically danced to upbeat, fast-tempo music like rock and roll or big band. In contrast, West Coast Swing is smoother and more elastic, with a slotted, linear style that fits a wider variety of music, including blues, pop, and R&B. Both dances share a swing foundation but differ in style, movement, and musical versatility.

12:30 Two Steppin’ – Nightclub & Texas
Learn the basics and understand the difference beween these two popular dances. The Texas Two-Step is a fast-paced, progressive dance typically done to country music, featuring quick steps and smooth turns. In contrast, the Nightclub Two-Step is a slower, more relaxed dance performed to ballads or slow pop songs, with flowing, sweeping movements designed for smaller spaces. Both share a two-step rhythm but differ in style, speed, and music

Designed to introduce Children to the exciting world of artial arts. 1:55-2:25 Women's Self Defense
this empowering class focuses on equipping women with practical self-efense techniues that can be used in real-life situations. Participants will learn how to protect themselves by recognizing potential threats, using their intuition, and applying simple yet effective self-defense moves. This class is perfect for women looking to build confidence and take control of their personal safety.

2:35-3:05 Adult Class
tailored for beginners and experienced martial artists alike, this class offers a comprehensive introduction to martial arts. Participants will explore the fundamental techniques of striking, blocking, and movement, while also gaining mental clarity and stress relief. Class is ideal for anyone interested in improving their physical fitness, mental discipline, and self-defense skills. Women are encouraged to stay after the Women's Self-Defense class for a more in-depth exploration of martial arts.

6:30 - 7:00  SHIM SHAM CHALLENGE Group Learn & Practice 
 a classic jazz line dance, often considered the ‘anthem’ of swing dancers around the world. Originally created by tap dancers in the 1930s, it features a series of simple yet rhythmic footwork patterns that are easy to learn. Performed to swing or jazz music, the Shim Sham is often danced as a group at social dance events, bringing dancers together to enjoy its lively, nostalgic steps.

7:00-7:30 Zydeco Lesson
Zydeco is a partner dance rooted in Creole and Cajun traditions, danced to upbeat accordion and washboard-driven music. In this beginner-friendly session, you'll learn the basics of Zydeco's signature steps, footwork, and rhythm.

7:30-10:00 Open Dancing 
DJ'd music of all the dance favorites we practiced and learned throughout the day, including Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Country Western. Lots of friendly faces and fun dancing. Join us!!
